It’s been just over a year since we purchased the overgrown jungle next to us. We logged it, mulched it, cleaned it up making way to plant a combination of shade type grasses for grazing.
Now Wayne is able to see all of his HARD work come together. Seed that was planted was ready to mow, taking the seed heads off of unwanted weeds because we did not spray herbicides to” kill it all” before planting grass. The deer have returned to birth their fawns in the wild areas left with plenty of cover for safety.
The cows rest in the shade of the timber left with new lush grasses and other grazing choices.
