This New Year at A Rusty Knoll had been over the top busy! We have been able to acquire additional pasture that will need minimal improvements. Yesterday was moving day for the steers to much needed green grass. This will allow us to have the steers and any heifers too young to breed away from the bull. Who is arriving April 6th! ( be on the look out for info on him…) Theses guys and few girls are much happier now. Cattle were moved and placed in a coral to settle. Once they had mineral treats, a bite of hay and water and settled down to rest we turned then out to the new pasture. They were excited and checking out the new stomping grounds.
