Temperatures have been down to -16 with wind chill. Out daily giving each animal that will take alfalfa a treat to boost energy. Extra hay for bedding. Tried to get new moms and calves into barn but they were not comfortable in there. They slept on the south side so at least it was a wind block. Counting the days to spring.
